Individualized Assistance

HMS can provide one on one coaching and advise to your employees to assist them prepare for and participate in the mediation process.

HMS will meet with you to assist you plan, prepare and participate in mediation.

Mediation coaching is an individualized way, combining mediation with coaching principles, to help you decide how to resolve specific workers compensation claims on a case by case basis. Mediation coaching is not representation.  The coach does not speak for or represent you. 

· Coaching prepares you for mediation by assisting in the preparation of the settlement strategy, helping you understand the mediation process, identify issues and explore settlement possibilities.

· Coaching can be used to assist you resolve your case even if you have not received any mediation advocacy training.

· Coaching can be used as an adjunct to advocacy  training where the coach assists you develop in practice the skills learned in training.
